New York, NY – CE WEEK 2016, June 20, 2016 – Cleer, Inc., a leader in award-winning high performance headphones, is proud to announce the appointment of Patrick Huang as its new global President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) today. Huang assumes his new role immediately.
Prior to joining Cleer, Mr. Huang served as SVP of Operations and Supply Chain for I AM Plus Electronics. I AM Plus Electronics is a Hollywood based technology company founded by musician and entrepreneur will.i.am. Prior to I AM Plus, Patrick was an executive with Sony Electronics, Inc. for 11 years, most recently as GM for Sony Digital Imagining. In that position, he oversaw all U.S. sales, marketing, product planning and supply chain activities for Digital Still Camera and Camcorder businesses, and held end-to-end accountability for business unit sales and profit for four separate P&Ls.
At Sony, he led the team to achieve #1 market share in camcorder and premium camera categories and substantially improved profitability. Patrick has also held various leadership positions in Marketing, Supply Chain, and Business Planning for Sony’s Audio Business Group. Other companies Patrick worked with include Nike and SourcingLink, a management consulting company. Patrick holds an MBA from Michigan State University with concentrations in marketing and supply chain management. Cleer, Inc. welcomes Patrick to its top leadership role.
In 2015 Cleer, a new high-performance headphone brand launched to immediately win two CES Innovations Honoree Awards for its NC Noise Cancelling and BT Bluetooth Series Headphones, a third Innovations Honoree Award was received in 2016. Cleer headphones will be on display Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. at (exhibit #121) for all show press attending the media event.
